Jewelled coloured titanium studs

These extremely hypoallergenic titanium earrings are a little different from most earrings - they go in backwards. The post goes through the back of your ear and the 3mm or 4mm ball screws on at the front. The flat back makes these earrings particularly comfortable to sleep in.

Length
This sort of labret stud does not adjust the way ordinary earrings do so you need to choose the length of the post. I have 6mm and 8mm, the most common sizes, in stock but I can also get 7mm, 9mm, 10mm studs. How do I work out the length?

The posts on these earrings are 1.2mm (16 gauge) which is the same thickness as a standard piercing stud.
