Gauge:

Hypoallergenic surgical steel 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm and 12mm internal diameter continuous rings in 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm gauges. Also known as seamless rings.

Twist sideways to open and close (see photos). The smaller gauge and larger size rings are the easiest to open so 0.8mm gauge 12mm rings will be the easiest and 1.2mm gauge 6mm rings will be the hardest.

Which size?
The sizes listed are for the internal diameter of the continuous rings so if you measure out from you piercing you should get a good idea of how each size would sit.

0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1mm or 1.2mm gauge?
0.6mm/22 gauge (thinner than a lot of stud earrings), 0.8mm/20 gauge (the same thickness as Blomdahl titanium and Studex Sensitive earrings) or 1mm/18 gauge continuous rings are good if your piercings have shrunk or were originally pierced with a smaller size, being thinner they are also easier to twist open and closed. 1.2mm/16 gauge is the standard size ears are pierced with. 0.6mm/22 gauge and 0.8mm/20 gauge are popular for nostril piercings.

Surgical steel continuous ring
Tuesday, 18 April 2017  |

I purchased this for my daughter who has a cartilage piercing. She wanted something small and plain, earring is very good quality and service was great however despite my best efforts can't quite manage to get space closed up after earring is in, would recommend though.

Response:

With any continuous rings that don't quite meet you should be able to close the gap by gently pushing the two halves together as you twist it closed. You might find close fitting latex/latex-free gloves helpful to give you more grip when doing this.

Cute ring, difficult to close
Friday, 7 April 2017  |

The ring is so cute and looks really nice now it's in. I found it really difficult to close though tbh, I had to use my dad's pliers haha! Would definitely recommend it though, just be a bit aware if you're using it in your nostril

Great purchase
Monday, 20 February 2017  |

I brought these for myself as wanted everyday hoops. I have to be careful what earrings I wear otherwise my ears itch but have no problems with these. They are fiddly to get in but once in are no problem. I have had my current pair in for days. Would repurchase different size/colour etc. Great price.

Found this hard to close especially when it was in my ear and asked someone else to try and they couldn't manage it either.

Too difficult
Friday, 19 August 2016  |

This hoop is fine when it's in, however it is extremely difficult to get to that point. Once you have opened the ring it is hard to close it without causing damage to the ear. When I finally got the ring into my ear, it was very difficult to close the hoop, which lead to me severely damaging the area around my piercing

Nice hoop
Wednesday, 3 August 2016  |

I normally struggle to get hoops into the top of my ear so this seemed like the perfect solution.
I manged to get it in and closed back up quite easily. However the 4th time I put it back in I couldn't get it to fully meet back together, so I've got a tiny gap now where my hair gets stuck. Maybe I over bent it...who knows but it's a great idea (Size: 8mm, Gauge: 0.8mm)

Response:

You should be able to close the gap by bending the hoop sideways (as shown in the photos) to open it and then pushing it together as you bend it back to close it.
